We envision a proactive collective of skilled doulas, united through camaraderie to inspire healthy, empowered births. Aligned with these pillars, Doula Doula provides a nurturing sanctuary for doulas to learn, serve, and grow together. Doula Doula was conceived as a secure space for doulas to share their passion for birth work, engage in insightful discussions about their experiences, exchange valuable resources, and celebrate their collective journey.
Doula Doula is a pioneering collective committed to reshaping the landscape of birthing experiences in the Bay Area. Fueled by a strong sense of purpose, we focus on skill development training and mentorship for doulas to bring about positive shifts in birth outcomes. Our core mission is rooted in dismantling the systemic barriers that BIPOC birth workers face, particularly within the maternal arena, aiming for a future where Black maternal health is elevated and the doula workforce is diversified and empowered.

Our Mission
Our collective, Doula Doula, is dedicated to catalyzing positive change in birth outcomes within the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. By providing comprehensive skill development training and invaluable mentorship to doulas, we aim to transcend the limitations imposed by structural barriers, particularly concerning BIPOC birth workers in the maternal arena. Our focus is to enhance Black maternal health, support BIPOC moms and families, and expand the doula workforce, all with the aim of ensuring a brighter and healthier future for birthing individuals and their doulas.
